Currently in the development phase, Caledonia’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report has now been submitted as part of its planning application. A further consultation for a proposed 3km underground cable connecting Caledonia’s substation at Burnside with the planned new National Grid substation at Greens is underway.

Scoping Reports

Caledonia has undertaken several environmental impact studies including onshore and offshore scoping reports. These surveys are vital for identifying and mitigating potential impacts of onshore and offshore infrastructure works on habitats and species.
