Caledonia completes detailed metocean study of the wind farm site
After two years of extensive surveys, data collection, and reporting, Ocean Winds, together with Deltares, has successfully completed the detailed metocean study for the Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm project site
Deltares’ Metocean team was commissioned in supporting Ocean Winds in the determination of reliable meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) conditions for the development of the Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm.
The work represents a major advancement in the project, providing a better understanding of the offshore site conditions that will help shape the essential design basis across both the Caledonia North and Caledonia South development areas.
